Plumbing Estimator
Employment type: Full-time

The Ringemann Plumbing Inc. Plumbing Estimator supports the General Management and Owner.
You must be proficient in detailed plumbing takeoffs for both commercial and residential projects.  You should also be able to update pricing in the Ringemann Plumbing Inc. estimating workbook.

The position requires 6 or more years’ experience as an Estimator. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Hourly rate negotiable dependent on experience and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day to day support to the General Manager and owner

  • Read Plumbing, Mechanical and Architectural drawings

  • Write RFI's as needed

  • Help prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates

  • Keep accurate records of time spent working on bids

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices

  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings

  • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper

  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements

  • Works well with a diverse group of people

  • Strong work ethic and moral character

  • Prior military experience a plus

  • Successful completion of a drug screening

  • A successful MVR check

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Able to legally work in the United States
