
Supply Chain Service Technician
(Warehouse Manager - Miami)

The Ringemann Plumbing Inc. Supply Chain Support Technician works as a critical player and delivers direct logistics support to fielded plumbing technicians. The technician receives, checks in, and issues materials in support of construction and maintenance activities. The position is responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files (including Safety Data Sheets), preparation of required documents and reports.
Minor maintenance or repairs occur on-site by the technician or third-party contractor; if major repairs require sending equipment off site, the technician must locate the vendor, coordinate the cost, schedule shipping, tracking and returning equipment to service. The technician must also be able to locate comparable substitute equipment when needed, negotiate pricing, and procure, and return equipment when no longer needed. Technician should be familiar with generators, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and vertical construction tools and their maintenance meaning developing a maintenance schedule, tracking, and ensuring tools and equipment remain in specification and warranty condition.
The technician may from time to time travel off site making deliveries to job sites using a company furnished vehicle. This position requires a self-motivated proactive thinker who shows attention to detail as well as technical skills, effective communication skills, and ability to follow directions.
Hourly rate negotiable dependent on experience and education.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Maintains inventories and completes records

Ensures proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third-party rentals

Under direct supervision, assigned daily work; may explain instructions and documentation to plan work activities

Helps coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work site

Completes and reviews records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up activities

Job may require moderate to heavy lifting

Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment

Other duties as assigned
Additional Qualifications:

Experience working with hand tools, power tool and electronic test equipment

Experience in construction and/or infrastructure maintenance a plus

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must attend training and obtain a forklift operator license

Must meet and maintain minimum insurance requirements
